Each drawer accommodates letter-size or legal-size files from side-to-side with the included hangrails. Front-to-back filing for letter-size folders is possible with other accessory hangrails (not included). Drawers lock and feature ball-bearing slide suspension for smooth movement. Mechanical interlock allows only one drawer to open at a time. Steel, reinforced case construction features baked enamel finish for durability. Two adjustable leveling glides in front corners stabilize the lateral file on uneven surfaces.
